Annabelle Gurwitch

Annabelle Gurwitch was an American actor, comedian, and television host. She is most well-known for her character as hostess of Dinner and a Movie (TBS) as well as an environmentalist who is associated with secular humanism and environmental issues. Annabelle Gurwitch, a New York Times bestseller and critically acclaimed actress is the New York Times's Bestselling author of her memoirs: In the Place You Are They Are I See You Made An Effort I say Tomato When you say Fired, I say Shut Up and was fired. Gurwitch, a former presenter on TBS Dinner & a Movie is remembered by television audiences for her memorable appearances on Better Things Boston Legal Seinfeld Dexter Murphy Brown. In addition she was the host of the show on sustainability, WA$TED, at The Planet Green Network. Her appearances are regularly on PBS Newhour Real Time, on NPR and in The Hollywood Reporter. In addition to the writing of op eds, she produces satires, which are published by The New Yorker WSJ The Hollywood Reporter. The New York Times, and the Los Angeles Times have ranked her in their annual Top Ten shows of the year for her work on stage. Annabelle's insight and humorous account of ageing in our youth-obsessed culture is shared.
