American actor Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge. She started her acting career as a supporting actress in the teen-oriented films Big Fat Liar (2002, 2006) and She's the Man (2006). She later played reporter Willa McPherson on the FX series Dirt and also played a minor role in the short-lived series The Ex List. She played the role of a young Moira O'Hara during the initial season of FX's American Horror Story, and played Kaylee in the third season. She played Jessie Anderson on AMC's The Walking Dead as well as Sophie on the NBC series This Is Us. She also voices of various characters in the comedy show Family Guy. Since her appearance in 2019, she's appeared as Melinda "Mel" Monroe as a character in the Netflix series Virgin River. Breckenridge was a resident of Darien, Connecticut, until 10 years old when her mother and she moved to California. went through a few different places before eventually settling in Mill Valley. Breckenridge became attracted to acting, photography as well as singing around the age of 13. Breckenridge re-located to Los Angeles with the help of her mother , who was 15.
